Lucky Sunrise Art by Heather Brown
"Lucky Sunrise is my first piece for 2024. I wanted to create a piece of art that captured my feelings of going into 2024. With the holiday season business rush, we would start working at 4am and go most days till 6 in the evening, 7 days a week from Thanksgiving to December 23rd.
Since our gallery is across the street from a beautiful little spot called Baby Beach in Kapa’a, Kaua’i, when we would start to see the first lights of morning peeking up from the ocean we would run across the street to sit and watch the sunrise before returning to work the rest of the day.
There was one particular morning that the sunrise was truly radiant gracing the horizon, shooting its yellow rays that seemed to go on forever. There is not rideable surf there, but the waves on the outer reefs looked as if they were painted by an artist who carefully placed each brush stroke of color.
This painting was created to bring the most positive vibrations to me in my studio, and now I want to share it with you in hopes that you can feel the same feelings of joy, hope, love and peace."
Thank you so much for your continued support of my art and for taking the time out of your day to read my stories!
